Many of us have been around long enough and have enjoyed TV to the extent where we remember the old Odd Couple TV series. The two men in that show shared an apartment together and, although they were as different as night and day, they seemed to get along quite well with each other. In the end, it was a relationship that worked, not because they were similar but because they were so different.
We may see this from time to time in the human world but in this video, you get to see it from an animal’s perspective. The dog in this video is being rather protective, not of her puppies but of a young fawn who wandered into the yard. She cares for the young deer, watching after her and even nursing her at one point. Her motherly instincts kick in, and it is rather amazing to see.
When the deer wanders back into the woods, the dog looks at least a little bit sad over the situation. Of course, the fawn is likely waiting for her mother but for a brief moment, the two of them were able to get along as if they shared the closest bond possible.
