When animals live in the wild together, they are either going to get along well with each other or they are not. Admittedly, there are times whenever they will just live together and ignore each other for the most part, but it is usually one or the other. As you are about to see, however, not everything is cut and dry when it comes to who gets along well together and who doesn’t.
This video was taken at Arnold’s wildlife rehabilitation center, and you see something rather unusual when it comes to animals sharing the same space. A deer is at the center and she has befriended a cat that also shares pens and the cat seems to love the fact that the two of them are getting along so nicely. In fact, the deer is cleaning the cat and it seems as if there is nothing better for the feline.
There is a lesson here that all of us can appreciate and it is one we shouldn’t ignore. If a deer can get along with a cat, certainly we can get along with others as well. There may be differences that are evident but we could reach for the common goal of peace.
