Horde of Deer Occupying the Road at Nara Park, Japan

At one time, wild animals found their place in the wild and humans found their place in small towns and cities around the world. As the number of people began to increase, they started to spread out and eventually, they began encroaching on the territory of those wild animals. This has caused problems for the animals in some cases but in others, they simply learned to live together peacefully. That is what you are seeing here.

This video is shot at Nara Park, Japan. The deer in this area would be considered wild but they actually have no fear of men, and they shouldn’t. They know they are going to be safe in the area and it doesn’t matter if humans are standing right next to them, all they are going to do is take some pictures. Even the traffic that drives by yields to the deer.

Some people feel that animals in their area are nothing more than a nuisance. They may even try to remove the animals to avoid any possible problems that could occur. It seems as if people in Japan have learned how to embrace it, and they are both able to live peacefully in the same area.
