Something that many of us appreciate in life is the ability to take a nap every once in a while. From the time we were young, it is something that many of us enjoyed and, although there may be times when we avoided naps, there were also many times when it was the first thing on our agenda. Even today, I enjoy spreading out on the couch in the middle of the afternoon and catching 40 winks.
Of course, many of us don’t need any convincing that animals also love to take naps in the middle of the afternoon as well. We may be familiar with it because we have a dog or a cat in our family, and it seems as if they have napping down to a science. It also appears that little creatures can also enjoy a good snooze, and that is the case with this seven day old hedgehog.
If you have never seen a baby hedgehog sleeping before, it is really going to be a treat. That is especially true if you appreciate taking a nap, because you can live vicariously through this little guy. One word of caution, however, you may want to go curl up and take one yourself.
