When a police officer starts their day patrolling the streets and caring for the area in which they are assigned, they never know what they are going to come up against. Police work has sometimes been described as hours of indescribable boredom sometimes punctuated with moments of sheer terror. It is something that they have become accustomed to, and many of them take their duty to serve and protect quite seriously.
In most cases, police officers are going to care for the humans in the area but there are also times when they may care for animals as well. That became obvious when this mother duck was distressed over the fact that her ducklings had gotten caught in a storm drain. She was pacing up and down and making a fuss but fortunately, the policewoman decided that she would step in to intervene and she does so in the best way possible.
After lifting the lid from the storm drain, the police officer was able to access the ducklings. When she brought them out of the storm drain, she didn’t just give them back to the mother, she took the time to walk all of them down to the park and release them into the water.
